Six Music

Terms of Service

By using Six Music, you agree to these Terms of Service and all applicable policies. These terms define how the bot may be used and the responsibilities of both users and developers.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting, using or interacting with Six Music, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must stop using the bot immediately.

2. Proper Usage

Users must not abuse commands, spam requests, intentionally overload the system, exploit bugs, bypass restrictions or use Six Music for unlawful activities.

3. Spotify User Login

Six Music offers optional Spotify account connection through the official Spotify OAuth system. By using /spotifylogin, you authorize Six Music to access your Spotify playlists using read-only permissions. Six Music cannot modify playlists or account settings.

4. Token Management

Spotify tokens are stored locally for operational purposes only. Users may revoke their stored Spotify token at any time using /spotifylogout. By connecting your account, you acknowledge this storage for feature functionality.

5. Service Availability

Six Music is provided "as-is". While we aim for maximum uptime and stability, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed due to server issues, external APIs or third-party failures.

6. Third-Party Services

Six Music relies on external services including Discord API, Spotify API, Lavalink, YouTube, SoundCloud, Deezer, Bandcamp and Audius. Availability and behavior of these services may directly affect bot functionality.

7. Data Usage

Six Music may store server settings, queue data, playlists, favorites, playback history and Spotify tokens (when authorized) to improve user experience and maintain core features.

8. Restrictions & Enforcement

We reserve the right to limit, suspend or permanently block access to Six Music for users or servers that abuse, exploit or intentionally harm the service, its infrastructure or its community.

9. Liability Disclaimer

Six Music and its developers are not responsible for outages, music source failures, data loss, API restrictions, playback interruptions or damages caused by third-party services.

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated at any time to reflect new features, legal requirements or service changes. Continued use of Six Music after updates means acceptance of the revised terms.
